COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINES (CMM)

Programmed tactile measurement verifies datums, positions, profiles, orientations, and other drawing-defined GD&T on complex three-dimensional parts. Inspection routines are developed around critical-to-function features and approved measurement access.

OPTICAL & MICROSCOPIC INSPECTION

Optical systems and industrial microscopy support visual examination of edges, surfaces, small features, and workmanship without applying probe force. The method is selected around feature size, access, and the agreed inspection plan.

MATERIAL TRACEABILITY & ALLOY CONTROL

Material identification begins with purchasing records, lot traceability, and supplier documentation. XRF alloy screening can supplement these controls when specified for applicable metallic materials.

TACTILE SURFACE INSPECTION

Contact inspection methods verify accessible surfaces and critical features. Profilometer measurement of parameters such as Ra and Rz is available for drawing-defined sealing, bearing, sliding, or finish requirements.

Incoming inspection verifies material grade, condition, quantity, and supplier records. First-off and in-process checks monitor critical dimensions and process conditions during production. Final inspection confirms drawing requirements, finish, documentation, quantity, and packaging before release.

Inspection reports and quality documentation

Available documentation includes dimensional and CMM inspection reports, FAI, MTRs, CoC, PPAP packages, and customer-specific records. Required format, sampling plan, standards, submission level, and delivery method are confirmed during quoting.

First Article Inspection (FAI)

FAI records verify drawing-defined dimensions and requirements on initial production parts before repeat production. Ballooned drawings and measured results are available when agreed during quoting.

Material Test Reports (MTR)

MTRs link supplied material to the specified grade, heat or lot, chemical composition, and mechanical properties. Availability depends on the material and must be confirmed before purchasing.

Certificate of Compliance (CoC)

A CoC identifies the order, part, revision, quantity, and agreed specifications, confirming that the shipment was produced and inspected against the approved requirements.
